Elli White is a 200-hour certified Sivananda Yoga instructor, with a deep interest in yoga as a relationship between mind, body, and spirit. She turned to yoga over 10 years ago as a way to rehabilitate her body from the strain and stress of a vigorous dance schedule. Yoga also turned her interest towards India, where she studied abroad in 2009, with a focus on traditional, spiritual yoga practices. Three years later, in 2012, she returned to India to study at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram in Kerala, for a yoga teacher training program. She finds Sivananda yoga to be challenging, nourishing, rejuvenating, as well as very modifiable for all levels. Her classes offer a strong rooting in a traditional, sequenced practice, with lots of room to experiment and grow.
